श्रवण या सावन मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की चतुर्थी तिथि को सावन शिवरात्रि का पर्व मनाया जाता है. सावन शिवरात्रि भगवान शिव की पूजा के लिए दूसरा सबसे बड़ा दिन है. वैसे सावन का हर दिन शिव पूजा के लिए शुभ होता है लेकिन सावन शिवरात्रि का दिन सबसे उत्तम दिन माना गया है.वहीं इस दिन व्रत रखने से भी भक्तों की मनोकामनाएं पूरी होती है, ऐसे में चलिए बताते हैं कि सावन शिवरात्रि व्रत में क्या खाना चाहिए क्या नहीं.
